Hi! I’m Makayla! I am the Owner of The Giggling Pig in Milford. Growing up as a child who loved art, and couldn’t get enough of it, my parents were always seeking opportunities for me to learn and be exposed to the arts, taking classes from the kitchen tables of some incredible Milford artists. Now, as a Milford mother of two, I quickly realized a need in the Milford community for arts programming for children. I have known Hannah for 10 years, taking my own children to her Shelton studio and was thrilled to have the opportunity to open a Giggling Pig in Milford.

Hi! I’m Peyton! I have a passion for creativity and hands-on work, and
the Giggling Pig allows me to share that with others every day. I love being part of a team that brings artistic visions to life. I thrive in creative environments and enjoy learning new techniques and processes. It's so rewarding to see kids express themselves and get excited about what they create—knowing I get to help make that happen is the best part of my job.

Hello!  As a mother of three and someone who has always had a passion for the arts and crafting, I value creating opportunities that engage children in hands-on, imaginative activities. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and helping them explore their creative side, which is vital to all stages of development. I like taking a practical, encouraging approach to supporting clients ideas while offering structure and support. I am located in Orange and love working at The Giggling Pig and being a part of the local community.

Lindsey Cavaliere is an experienced art educator with seven years of teaching in Bridgeport public schools, specializing in 2-dimensional
art. She has children of all ages and adults as well. She loves
capturing people, animals, and floral elements in her own artwork.
When she’s not making art or doing something crafty, Lindsey enjoys music, spending time with her kitties, tending to her garden/flowers, attending local community events, and diving into psychological thrillers—whether in books, movies, or TV shows.

Hi! I’m Skylar! I’m a rising senior at UConn, majoring in Marketing
with a concentration in Digital Marketing & Analytics. I’ve been
surrounded by art my whole life, constantly inspired by the work of my mom and both of my grandmas. I grew up flipping through their old sketches and paintings, and once I had the tools in my own hands, I discovered that same creative spark had been passed down to me. Being able to share that artistry with kids and watch them grow in confidence through art is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

My expertise lies in helping young people navigate complex emotional challenges, drawing on her deep understanding of family dynamics and developmental processes. I'm a mother of two young children and bring a unique empathetic perspective to my counseling practice. Located in Milford, Connecticut, I am deeply connected to my community, providing tailored support to meet local mental health needs. Committed to ongoing learning, I'm excited to work with local families at the Giggling Pig.

Hi! I’m Chelsey! I’m originally a Michigan girl and I’ve been living in Connecticut for the last ten years while raising my family. Growing up, anything art related was my go-to hobby as I dabbled in everything from hand-lettering, clay figurines, sewing, drawing and painting. I love it all! Now as a mother of three—with two of my children being on the autism spectrum— I am extremely passionate about sensory play, art exploration and providing a space for all children to engage in creativity in a way that is fulfilling for them. I have always loved working with kids and bringing creativity into every day life, and I love that being at the Giggling Pig gives me the chance to do both!
