About Us
Welcome to The Giggling Pig Seymour, our 4th franchise location located in the heart of historic downtown Seymour, CT. Established in May 2022, the studio has quickly become a community destination for children’s art programming, including classes, parties, after school, and camp programs for children of all ages. Join us in the studio for our award-winning arts programming, never-ending creative fun, and the limitless joy of possibility (and find us at the local libraries and after school programs too!).

Matt Loux
Art Teacher
Matt is an author and graphic artist with 4+ years of experience in studio instruction. His most recent book, 'My Journey to Japan, Escape to Yokai Mountain', was inspired by his extensive travels in Japan. In his role as lead instructor, Matt can be found in the studio teaching workshops and classes.
Aaliyah Willets
Art Teacher
Aaliyah is a recent fine arts graduate with a concentration in illustration. She is always creating art and drawing and credits fantasy illustrator Brian Froud as an inspiration for her love of character design and world building. In her role as an instructor, Aaliyah can be found teaching classes in the studio (and partying at the pig on weekends!).
Reagan Kalish
Art Teacher
Reagan is currently attending university and her interests include photography, plants, and art. When not at school or traveling, Reagan can be found in the studio during camp and school break.
Pia Migani
Owner
Pia studied art history at Fairfield University and has worked in the design industry for over 25 years. As a parent to two creative children, she is passionate about arts programming for children and continuing to create thoughtfully designed spaces for families to inhabit and enjoy.
Joan Malerba-Foran
Store Manager
Joan has 30+ years of experience in education and holds an MFA in Literature with a concentration in oral traditions. Joan’s work in the studio focuses on facilitating social and emotional growth through imagination and play and the experience of possibility and self-expression through art.
Kaiya Bryant
Art Teacher
Kaiya is a current art and design major with a love of all things art (and art adjacent!). Kaiya is a fan of Van Gough, glitter, and her cat Juniper (although, not necessarily in that order!). In her role as lead instructor, Kaiya can be found teaching classes in the studio, heading up afterschool sessions, and working with our littlest piglets.
