Weekly Projects
Each week students will explore an array of different mediums. We work really hard to make sure students are learning, exploring art and enjoying themselves. Every project has variations available to suit all ages, so do not worry if the image looks too hard for your child. We have been in business for 14 years now, and are dedicated to making summers special!
The Giggling Pig Art & Party Studio is a fully licensed day camp by the State of Connecticut.
We are licensed by the state and are always keeping up to date with guidelines. It's been a tough few years for the children and we want this summer to really be about the joy of creating. If your child doesn't want to take part in a certain image, we will give them another option. We never want to see a camper unhappy and are always very accommodating. All you need to do is tell us! So lets have a wonderful summer together, creating memories and works of art to treasure.
Choose from full-day or half-day weeks or individual days. We have a teen drop-in option and projects for all ages. The Giggling Pig is a fully licensed day camp by the State of Connecticut. This requires us to obtain each child's health records. Either use ours, or bring in a copy of your child's school medical form. PLEASE NOTE: Each child MUST BE registered prior to camp start date. PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON CAMP. Camp is non transferable. (Thank you for your understanding!)

Step into the magical world of Giggling Pig Village! This special camp week invites your child to explore the village, meet all the characters, and discover the stories behind their personalities and how they were created. Campers will dive into creativity as they learn about character design, storytelling, and even a little entrepreneurship while bringing their own original characters to life. The fun continues with board-game making, character cards, daily projects, and an exciting village-wide competition! All campers can enter their character for a chance to have it professionally illustrated by creator Hannah Perry. Optional Giggling Pig goodie bags and signed books will also be available. Glow in the Dark Art
Unleash your creativity in a unique setting at the "In the Dark Art Camp," where young artists are invited to explore the mysterious and captivating world of glow-in-the-dark and UV-responsive art. Fairy Frolic Huts & Houses
Experience the magic of "Fairy Frolic" week at our Summer Camp! Kids will embark on a creative adventure, building whimsical wooden houses and crafting tiny furniture using a variety of materials, including natural elements and cardboard. Guided by our attentive staff, campers will design and construct their own enchanting fairy worlds, transforming imagination into art. Join us at The Giggling Pig Art Camp for a week of creativity, hands-on fun, and fairy tale magic!

Frida was an incredible Mexican folk artist, and we adore how deeply she loved art, color, and flowers—so much inspiration that it simply can’t fit into just one day! This week, we’ll take a creative deep dive into her world as campers paint expressive portraits, sculpt bold flowers, build beautiful collages, and fill vases with their own artistic flair.

Authors & Illustrators
Every year we love to read the books our campers create - Remember this camp sells out fast so don't delay. We print 1 copy for your child to enjoy and share with you and additional copies are available for $20 each. The topic is completely up to your child and we assist with writing, spelling and any help they may need. We appreciate your patience with this camp as editing, and formatting does take some time. Books are ordered before Thanksgiving.

It’s Sculpture Week—hooray! We’re so excited for this hands-on, wonderfully messy week of creativity. Campers should come dressed for a mess and ready with patience as we design, build, and sculpt our pets—or the pets we wish we had! Using clay, papier-mâché, and plaster, we’ll spend the week bringing their creations to life as they work toward a magical finished piece.
Campers will also have the chance to create extra accessories for their pets, including homes, collars, leashes, and even tiny crowns. It’s a week full of imagination, sculpting, and so much fun!

Slime & Ceramics
Welcome to our Slime and Ceramics Camp! This week-long adventure is perfect for campers who enjoy a relaxed and creative atmosphere. Participants will have a blast mixing various types of slime and painting ceramics, allowing kids to express their creativity. In addition to these main activities, our camp also features several exploration stations where campers can engage in different creative pursuits at their own pace. Ideal for those who prefer a gentler camp experience, our Slime and Ceramics Camp combines fun, artistic expression, and the chance to make new friends in a calm environment. Singing Sensations
At Singing Sensations Camp, we blend the magic of music with the fun of visual art. Campers will explore their favorite musicians, musicals, and kids’ movies, turning iconic songs and characters into vibrant works of art.
Each day, campers dive into hands-on projects inspired by the sounds they love. Painting expressive portraits of favorite singers, designing posters for beloved musicals, creating art from popular kids’ movies, and crafting colorful music-themed masterpieces. Whether it’s Broadway show tunes, pop stars, or animated movie soundtracks, every project celebrates creativity and self-expression.

Please Note:
SUMMER CAMP MUST BE USED FOR SUMMER CAMP DURING THE SAME YEAR. SUMMER CAMP CAN NOT BE APPLIED TO CLASSES. If you do not show up for summer camp and do not bring a doctor's note, like all other camps, you cannot use this day at a later date. We try very hard to be flexible, but this is something we must be strict on. if you bring a doctor's note you are welcome to use your missed days before the end of summer. There are no refunds on summer camp.
Summer Camp FAQs
What Will my child do at camp?

Half day students: Will work on a project that will be completed each day and be ready to take home.

Full Day Students: Will work on 2 projects - one in the morning, and one in the afternoon, unless otherwise specified in camp week description.
Both groups will also have time for creative free time. From creative collages to jewelry making, art areas will always be available during breaks.
What should I pack for my child?

Please label everything! And apply sunscreen before attending camp.
Can I make up a day if my child is sick?
If you bring in a note from your child's doctor we will gladly save your child's day to use by the end of summer.
Are there refunds on camp?
We do not offer refunds on summer camp. Summer camp purchases, MUST be used by the end of the summer. Classes cannot be used towards anything other than what they are purchased for. Example, you cannot apply summer camps towards art lessons or gifts. One of our main reasons for not offering refunds is: We are a small business! We are an art business. Art supplies are ordered in advance for every student. We train and staff our camps, and invest a lot of money into being licensed, having a Dr on call should we need one and making sure every child has the best possible camp experience.
