Publishing isn't just for grown-ups!
Here at The Giggling Pig students will be guided on writing and illustrating their very own story. We will then organize and submit each book to an online book publisher. Books typically arrive within 4-6 weeks after the books have all been completed. All books completed during this workshop will print as soft cover books.
This is a very special course that Hannah has wanted to bring to students for quite some time. Children will learn about self publishing and developing their individual style. During the 12 weeks, students will create their very own short stories. Students can work on picture books, or poetry too. The class size will be kept very small to ensure proper individual attention. If students finish their books sooner, classes cannot be transferred. This course has high costs and we offer at a low price to give every child the opportunity to be a published author.
It is Hannah's goal to make sure that each child publishes their very own book. Once the course ends she will be working on editing and creating these books ready for print. One book is included as part of the course, but additional can always be ordered.
Each child’s book will be available for purchase on AMAZON in the USA and UK. After the books are published, we will organize a night to honor the young authors and invite the public in to a meet and greet. This will give the students a chance to make some book sales!

What if I do not complete my book in 12 sessions?
If you think you need more time, you can always add additional weeks. The course will run all year long so if you want extra time, you have it.
I don't think I am a good artist, does that matter?
We promise you that you are better than you think! Luckily, we are all artists here and can help guide you. Children's book are colorful and bright and what ever you want to achieve, we will be here to help you achieve that.
I can't attend consecutive weeks, is that ok?
Yes. This course will run all year long and with adults working independently, you are able to stop and start as you please.
What if I finish my book early? Can classes be transferred?
No. We give your child up to 12 classes to complete their book. If they finish early they do not get to transfer to lessons. The reason is that this course has high costs and we spend countless hours on edits, and offer additional edits if needs be. We cannot give discounts for this class. Thank you for your understanding.
