Weekly Projects
Each week students will explore an array of different mediums. We work really hard to make sure students are learning, exploring art and enjoying themselves. Every project has variations available to suit all ages, so do not worry if the image looks too hard for your child. We have been in business for 14 years now, and are dedicated to making summers special!
The Giggling Pig Art & Party Studio has been hosting camps since 2011
If your child doesn't want to take part in a certain image, we will give them another option. We never want to see a camper unhappy and are always very accommodating. All you need to do is tell us! So lets have a wonderful summer together, creating memories and works of art to treasure.
Choose from half-day weeks or individual days. We have a teen drop-in option and projects for all ages. The Giggling Pig is a fully licensed day camp by the State of Connecticut. We require each child's health records. Either use ours, or bring in a copy of your child's school medical form. PLEASE NOTE: Each child MUST BE registered prior to camp start date. PAYMENT IS DUE AT TIME OF REGISTRATION. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS ON CAMP. Camp is non transferable. (Thank you for your understanding!)

Build A House!
Last year we made fairy houses, but this year we will be creating homes for our dolls, stuffies or what ever you have at tucked into your bed! From building the boxes, to designing the wallpaper and carpets, to building furniture. This week is not ideal for children under 7 years old as there will be a lot of hot glue and building, but they can still give it their best try.
We are looking forward to seeing rooftop terraces and mini furniture.

Welcome to Canvas Creations Camp! Dive into a week dedicated to unleashing your creativity on canvas, mastering skills with acrylics, and exploring a variety of themes. Each day, campers will create a new masterpiece, from the enchanting depths of 'Under the Sea' to the serene landscapes of 'Beaches and Beyond.'
With a new theme daily, students are guaranteed a fun and diverse experience, filled with learning and laughter. No matter the skill level, our nurturing environment encourages everyone to express themselves and grow as young artists.

Camp Giggles
The Giggling Pig World
Step into the magical world of Giggling Pig Village! This special camp week invites your child to explore the village, meet all the characters, and discover the stories behind their personalities and how they were created. Campers will dive into creativity as they learn about character design, storytelling, and even a little entrepreneurship while bringing their own original characters to life.
The fun continues with board-game making, character cards, daily projects, and an exciting village-wide competition! All campers can enter their character for a chance to have it professionally illustrated by creator Hannah Perry. Optional Giggling Pig goodie bags and signed books will also be available. Unleash your creativity in a unique setting at the "In the Dark Art Camp," where young artists are invited to explore the mysterious and captivating world of glow-in-the-dark and UV-responsive art. Frida & Flowers
Frida was an incredible Mexican folk artist, and we adore how deeply she loved art, color, and flowers—so much inspiration that it simply can’t fit into just one day! This week, we’ll take a creative deep dive into her world as campers paint expressive portraits, sculpt bold flowers, build beautiful collages, and fill vases with their own artistic flair.
Don’t miss this truly one-of-a-kind week of art, bursting with color, creativity, and Frida-inspired magic!

Experience the magic of "Fairy Frolic" week at our Summer Camp! Kids will embark on a creative adventure, building whimsical wooden houses and crafting tiny furniture using a variety of materials, including natural elements and cardboard. Guided by our attentive staff, campers will design and construct their own enchanting fairy worlds, transforming imagination into art. Famous Faces
We’re diving into the vibrant world of famous artists and their masterpieces. Campers will be painting on canvas, Illustrating in their own unique style, taking fun daily quizzes and learning about art through the lens of global culture.

During this inspiring week of camp, we will be exploring the world of illustration. Campers will work with ink and pencil while learning foundational drawing techniques such as shading, line work, and composition.
Students will be encouraged to develop their individual style and will practice turning their ideas into beautifully illustrated artworks. By the end of the week, campers will feel more confident using these tools and will have created multiple pieces they can proudly take home.

Slime, Sculpture & Ceramics
This is going to be a fun week filled with everyone's favorites. From working with clay to mixing slime and painting ceramic pieces. We make sure that every session is filled with creativity and giggles.

1st Child Discount: Attend 3 or more weeks, receive 10% off 3rd & additional weeks (Must purchase In Store)
2nd Child Discount: Receive 10% off total for 2nd child. Must be minimum of 5 consecutive days. Sibling discount given to child with equal or fewest days.

Please Note:
SUMMER CAMP MUST BE USED FOR SUMMER CAMP DURING THE SAME YEAR. SUMMER CAMP CAN NOT BE APPLIED TO CLASSES. If you do not show up for summer camp and do not bring a doctor's note, like all other camps, you cannot use this day at a later date. We try very hard to be flexible, but this is something we must be strict on. if you bring a doctor's note you are welcome to use your missed days before the end of summer. There are no refunds on summer camp.
Summer Camp FAQs
What Will my child do at camp?

Half day students: During camp, students will work on a project that will be instructor led and we will go outside for snack time ( weather permitting). There will also be time for students to draw, create and explore different stations.

Full day students: Full day students will spend the morning doing the same as listed in AM description. We will then have lunch. You may send lunch with an ice pack or purchase lunch from the Grill. PM session will then complete a PM project which will include a short break around 2pm. We will go outside if weather permits for snacks and lunch time.
What should I pack for my child?

Half Day Students: A nut free snack.

Full Day Students: A nut free snack & lunch. You may also pack money for the Grill in an envelope with Childs name clearly written on.
Please label everything! And apply sunscreen before attending camp.
Can I make up a day if my child is sick?
If you bring in a note from your child's doctor we will gladly save your child's day to use by the end of summer.
Are there refunds on camp?
We do not offer refunds on summer camp. Summer camp purchases, MUST be used by the end of the summer. Classes cannot be used towards anything other than what they are purchased for. Example, you cannot apply summer camps towards art lessons or gifts.
